Korea is one of the large oil refining countries but at the same time, a major energy importer. Nearly all of its oil needs are imported which makes Korea vulnerable to oil crisis. In order to solve this uncertainty of oil supply, Korea is now dedicated to oil hub projects in Ulsan and Yeosu.
What is Oil Hub?
It is the center of oil distribution and trading service which offers storage and other services for crude oil and petroleum products by establishing commercial oil depot in major seaway area.
Personally, I grew up in Ulsan the famous city of Petrochemical Complex. I feel very much attached to Ulsan city and proud to say that Ulsan is getting prepared to be one of the four Oil Hubs in the world. Therefore, I'd like to keep this blog posted with all Oil Hub news. My first blog project has just begun!
